Appearance: Broad yet defined. Lopez's original appearance was of a regular Hispanic, tan skin, black hair, dark eyes, but due to radical circumstances and time all of his features changed into the silvery-grey skinned, white-haired creature beneath the armor. His eyes had earlier turned blue during his Spartan training due to shifting genetics.

Personality: Originally a quiet and patient person in his earlier years, Lopez was the opposite of many of his hot-blooded associates. While not expressing emotions outwardly, he did experience feelings, but found that keeping them from interfering with others' actions kept the peace. When he is provoked though, his reactions vary, most of which results in someone or himself getting hurt. After his cybernization through Sarge most of his cool personality remained even after amnesia, yet he is beginning to regain senses of old feelings.

Why they are in Blood Gulch: After pleading to his LCPO and going through Sarge's trials after his supposed crime, Lopez was reassigned to accompany Sarge to their new duty station to 'supervise' Levin's development.
